Laurance Ollerton

Doctor of Physiotherapy, B.HlthSci (Sport&ExSci)

Laurance has over 13 years experience working as a support worker, care coordinator and physiotherapist in the healthcare sector. He has a particular interest in post-operative rehabilitation and fall prevention. He prides himself on providing gold-standard treatment, achieving the best outcomes and improving the quality of life for participants.

Michael Cramer

Doctor of Physiotherapy, B.HlthSci (Sport&ExSci)

Michael is an experienced physiotherapist with a varied caseload of musculoskeletal pain and disability, worker’s compensation, sports and injury management. Michael’s work experience allows him to confidently take clients through the entire rehabilitation process from start to finish.

Stefan Scheuermair

Doctor of Physiotherapy, Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology, B.HlthSci (Sport&ExSci)

Stefan is an exercise physiologist and physiotherapist and has worked in the healthcare sector for the last eight years. He has a particular interest in cerebral palsy, chronic pain, ehlers-danlos syndrome, spina-bifida and autism; Stefan enjoys working closely with his patients to create personalised treatment programs to achieve their long-term goals.

Melinda Vernon

Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy)


Melinda has over 12 years of experience in the field as an Occupational Therapist (OT), having worked with a broad range of different clients, including aged care and community-based work such as worker's compensation/ return to work, brain and spinal cord injury rehabilitation, home modifications, clinical, Deaf and hard of hearing, Autism (adults) and neurodevelopmental disorders, mental health, intellectual, and physical disabilities. 

Melinda advocates for participant needs, completing various housing and assistive technology assessments and supporting/ motivating/ educating participants to improve their independence and quality of life. Melinda is particularly interested in Deaf and Hard of Hearing, having learnt Auslan (moderate level). Having hearing loss herself, Melinda can understand and relate to a participant's needs and their different journeys on a more in-depth therapeutic level.

Imran Ali

Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy, B.HlthSci. 

Imran is a physiotherapist with experience in both hospital and private practice settings. He has particular experience in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, combat sports injuries and post-stroke rehab. He has a deep interest in conditions that affect the nervous system and a passion for helping people gain independence so they do not have to give up their interests and activities.

Shannon Berry

Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy

Shannon is a highly experienced physiotherapist who enjoys treating many conditions but is particularly interested in post-surgical rehabilitation, home-based strength mobility, rehabilitation, and sports-related injuries. Shannon enjoys working collaboratively with her patients to help them achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Jillian Gu

Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy

Jillian is an experienced physiotherapist with a diverse background in disability, paediatrics and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. With a strong foundation in evidence-based practice, Jillian is dedicated to helping individuals improve their functional abilities, enhance their quality of life and achieve their goals. 

 

Throughout her career, she has developed a deep passion for working with individuals affected by cerebral palsy, brain injuries and neurological disorders. Focused on improving movement and independence, Jillian empowers her clients to regain confidence and achieve their full potential in everyday life.

Nicole Chan 

Master of Occupational Therapy

Nicole is an experienced occupational therapist with a strong background in disability, assistive technology, and community-based rehabilitation. She has a special interest in complex seating, positioning, and pressure care management, including wheelchair prescription and home modifications.

Passionate about helping people maximize independence, Nicole works closely with clients to find practical solutions that support mobility and daily living. She is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, allowing her to connect with diverse communities. Outside of work, she enjoys running, hiking, and rock climbing.

Helen Ryan

Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy, Master of Coaching Psychology

Qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 1999, Helen has worked across various settings and held clinical, case management, and leadership roles in Australia and the UK. Helen spent several years working in acquired brain injury and neurological rehabilitation and specialises in assessing cognitive and physical abilities, recommending adaptive equipment, and implementing therapeutic activities.

Helen is fascinated by what motivates and enables people to achieve their goals and has a passion for enhancing the quality of life for elderly individuals.

Cathy Davies

Doctor of Physiotherapy, Masters in Education and B.Sci.Athl.Train (Sports Med)

Cathy has over 11 years of experience working with athletes and patients in the aged care sector. She has a particular interest in fall prevention, mobility, and pain neuroscience education. Cathy prides herself in building a rapport with her clients while achieving their goals. Cathy’s experience and skill set allow her to provide best-practice care, helping to develop her clients’ capacity and independence.

Mary Ann Mapanao Dismaya

Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (First Class Honours)

Ann is an occupational therapist with a special interest in mental health disorders, intellectual disabilities, and neurodivergent conditions. Her clinical experience encompasses a diverse range of environments, including hospitals, community centres, and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) community, allowing her to understand the various challenges individuals encounter within these settings. 

Ann's clinical experience has equipped her with a robust skill set to address each client's unique therapeutic requirements. She is adept at providing tailored interventions that promote recovery and foster resilience and independence among her clients.

Kristy Leung

Master of Occupational Therapy

Kristy is a compassionate Occupational Therapist with experience across various caseloads, including aged care, worker's compensation, mental health concerns, and neurological and neurodivergent disorders. She is dedicated to providing client-centred practice, ensuring that clients' voices are heard and their preferences are considered. Kristy's experience and skill set enable her to understand each client's unique strengths and challenges, allowing her to tailor interventions that promote independence and enhance overall well-being.

Ron Karimo

Bachelor of Health Science (Occupational Therapy)

Ron Karimo is a dedicated AHPRA-registered occupational therapist from New Zealand who is now based in South West Sydney, Australia. With six years of diverse experience in specialised rehabilitation, Ron has developed expertise in spinal injury recovery, stroke rehabilitation, elderly care, low vision education, occupational rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and NDIS services. His skill set includes Functional Capacity Assessments, Assistive Technology Assessments, and Living Skills support.  

 

His client-centred approach ensures tailored solutions that prioritise individual goals, combining therapeutic expertise with a commitment to improving the quality of life for those he supports.

Charlotte Toose-Cutler

Bachelor of Communications (Advertising)

Charlotte is our Marketing Manager and Administrator who has extensive experience in organic social media growth and relationship-building solid skills. She prides herself on her detail to business branding and her personal touch to customer care. Charlotte is your go-to person for any social media, press, collaboration, or event enquiries for Innovate Rehab.

Ingrid Jeffries

Bachelor of Education (Primary Ed)

Ingrid, our Practice Manager, has many years of experience as a manager and administrator in the health and education sectors and thrives on ensuring you get the care you need. Responsible for the smooth running of the practice, Ingrid loves to connect with people and prides herself on providing a positive and supportive experience for patients and referrers. Ingrid is happy to answer any questions, so please don't hesitate to get in touch!

Fiona Wesse

Fiona is our administration officer. She has many years of experience in administration and has recently worked as a support worker. Fiona has had personal experience seeing the challenges that our ageing community faces, the importance of rehabilitation from injury, and the need for intervention for those with special needs. She finds great joy in connecting people with the assistance they need to improve their quality of life. Fiona is one of the friendly voices you may hear when you call Innovate Rehab, and she is happy to help, so do not hesitate to reach out.
